The Hunting of the Snark by Lewis Carroll (Poetry)

The Hunting of the Snark by Lewis Carroll

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Three stars *only. It was trying to be funny, non-sensical. I guess non-sense also has many different flavours. The only redeemable aspect for me, was its rhythm (enjoyed more and more over the course).

It did try to make a moral point sometimes. If you want rhythm, you will get that here and if you want sense - you won't- which is good. Some days all we need is to read a classic non-sensical poem.
